Mountain Village Serena
On the shores of Lake Duluti, at the foot of Mount Meru — a colonial-era coffee farm turned village-style safari retreat.
A Colonial Coffee Farm, Reimagined as a Village Retreat
Built on the grounds of an old coffee plantation on the shores of Lake Duluti, Mountain Village Serena pairs a colonial-style main lodge with an African village of stone, banana-thatch cottages arranged around flower-filled courtyards. Every room opens onto a private balcony framed by views toward Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
The lodge sits at the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit, roughly 20km from Arusha — the perfect first or last stop on a Tanzania safari.
