Grumeti River Camp is situated in a remote valley in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park, just 50 kilometres (31 miles) east of Lake Victoria. The camp sits right on the bywater of the Gruneti River which is world-renowned for it’s wildebeest crossings and giant nile crocodiles. The best time to stay at this camp while on your Africa photo safari is in June and July when the annual migration passes through.
