When is the best time to go on safari?
This is by far the most popular question our clients ask us, but the honest answer depends on your personal needs and interests. No matter the time of year, we follow the migration to the various regions of the Serengeti. This ensures maximized game-viewing. Comments our clients have shared with us, and might help inform your decision on when to go, include:
-Whether you would prefer to travel in the “dry season” (June – Novemeber) or the “wet season” (December – May)
-Specific sites, regions, or landmarks you want to see
-Potential trip-extensions you are interested in
-When the lodges tend to have fewer crowds
Our Director of Sales would be happy to speak with you to make recommendations based on your preferences.
Can I use my credit card in Africa?
Most places in Africa will accept credit cards. VISA and Master Card are the most accepted, but some places also accept American Express.
Can I drink the water?
We do not recommend drinking tap water in any hotel, camp or game lodges during your trip. We recommend you drink only bottled water.
Can wild animals be approached?
Never! In order to ensure your own safety, you must remember that you are visiting the animals in their environment. All wild animals need to be treated with humble respect and appreciated as the magnificent, dangerous and untameable creatures that they are.
