If you love nature, if you love untouched nature, animals by the tens hundreds and thousands The Serengeti National Park is for you. On my last trip to Tanzania I saw 145 lions, 30 cheetahs and 7 leopards and 4 serval cats. Forget about the hundreds of hyenas, elephants, giraffes and the thousands of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles. I saw the birth of 3 lion cubs and a cheetah hunt and kill 2 gazelles.
My first tented lodge (Mbuzi Mawae) where I have stayed previously was outstanding. I had a lion pride hunting buffalo outside of my tent. I heard the lions roaring at night. And the food was great as well!
I can go on and on about how great Tanzania, its wild life and its people are but you should experience it yourself because words and pictures cannot do it justice. I started Proud African Safaris with Adam because we want to help preserve the beauty of Tanzania, protect its wild life and give its people a better life through clean sustainable occupations. And for purely selfish reasons I want to protect and sustain wild life so I can go on safari many many more times.
